Hainanese Chicken originated from the tropical island province of Hainan, in southern China. This beloved dish has migrated to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. You can find Hainanese Chicken in hawker stalls, food courts, and even high end restaurants and hotels all over Asia.
At Jackpot, we’ve taken our favourite features from all of the versions and made our own Jackpot Chicken Rice. A soft poached chicken, served with traditional Ginger-Scallion sauce and fresh chilli sauce. Also try our South-East Asian style, Fire Roasted Chicken Rice served with Thai style fish sauce.
Our dinner menu is based around the Chicken Rice. This fragrant rice is cooked in schmaltzy Master stock and scented with Pandan leaves. It is the foundation for our sharing menu, served family-style.
At lunch, you can find individual Chicken Rice meals with a bowl of winter melon soup, and pair it with our tasty side dishes or add-ons!
